Daniel began his career as an art consultant with Merrill Chase Galleries where he quickly became a top producer.

In 1977, Dan and his business partner, Jim Ciganek, opened Prints Unlimited Galleries offering beautiful reproductions and affordable custom framing as an alternative to expensive, original artwork and high cost framing for the home and office.

Prints Unlimited Galleries operates two Chicago locations including a Lincoln Park based gallery and custom framing facility and a corporate sales showroom in Old Town on Wells Street. Today, Prints Unlimited Galleries, employees 14 sales and operations experts focused on corporate art consulting, retail sales and custom framing at affordable prices.

Annual trips buying to art expositions in New York City and Atlanta and frequent visits to Phoenix, Los Angeles and Paris allow Prints Unlimited Galleries the opportunity to offer our corporate and retail clients unique selections of original artwork, sculptures and the latest in fine art reproductions and frame moldings.

Dan’s knowledge, expertise and designer’s instinct has made him an invaluable resource to his clients which include some of the most formidable healthcare, corporate and hospitality organizations in the country. Dan is experienced in working from blue prints and color boards on both local and national projects.

Prints Unlimited Galleries framed artwork is currently being placed St. Joseph Hospital. Daniel’s skill in helping the hospital staff select appropriate pieces for each department is making this facility a showcase.

In addition, the DuPage Medical Center’s satellite offices feature an extensive collection of high-end pieces selected, framed and installed by Daniel and his staff.

Corporate clients include Ameriprise and American Express. Both organizations dedicated significant budgets for services delivered by Prints Unlimited Galleries which included taking inventory of their current art collection, consulting services which involved the reframing and relocation of current pieces and the purchase of additional pieces that complimented the new office design.

In the hospitality market, Dan works extensively with top design firms including Simeone Deary, Gettys and Gooch Design on national hotel chains and boutique hotels. Recent projects include the model room at the Grand Amway Plaza, a five star hotel in Grand Rapids, MI.

Dan graduated from Illinois State University with a BS in Art and Business. Dan also studied abroad at Loyola University’s Rome Center where successfully completed the art history program.
